Is the grass really greener?

we've all been in that position - go for a change or stay where we are.

is that job better than my current one?

is that car better than my current one?

and even is that babe better than my current one?

but then its a case of better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

but oh it looks tempting to cross that bridge and find out. even if it means sometimes you have burn the bridge as you cross it. recently i left one company to join another that i'd heard alot about and it all starts very well - your happy and thinking yeah i made a good move but then it slowly starts to turn sour very quickly and you think man wtf was i thinking?! you cant even go back to the old one as they know you switched so your on the bottom of the ladder again. it worked out ok for me as i went to a 3rd company who i knew were good employers.

but thats just career. the temptation for other thangs is alot and you cant help but wonder how would it be if i had that instead of this.

change is inevitable as are losses. as a hero of mine says it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
