Destiny vs ambition
where are we all to end up?
each person has a different destiny. each person will become what they're meant to be right? they're destined to be a father, they're destined to be a doctor, an MC or the president right?
then whats the point of ambition?
you can try to be the president all you want but son your just going to have to put up with being a taxi driver. you can put your head in all the books you can find but your destined to fail all the exams.
about ten years ago i was the person with the hustle, the one who's looking to make a break here there and anywhere there was a break to be taken. 1998 i got talking to an aussie chick - she turned a lil psycho on me but thats a different story - she was talking about sydney. i did some of my own research and i was like THAT is a city thats going places. there's lots of investment - lots of opportunity - thar lies gold!!
so i read into moving to austrailia and i was seriously considering it. but alas shackles on my feet controlled by the family said otherwise.
ten years ago me and another guy were in a very similar spot - the internet was this up and coming thing. i realised it was potentially huge. for my family and friends it was me geeking out. 10 years later - people working outta their garages on internet video's are now billionaires. the other guy is out and about hotlinking with anyone of interest. and i'm sat in my basement at half 5 in the morning writing this.
so it occurs to me. was this merely what i was always destined for? no matter how much i hustled tried to catch a break someplace where i could earn serious money, no matter how many businesses i saw hoping that the family would help me buy them, no matter how ambitious i got was i always meant to do this?
if our destiny is already made why bother trying?

The terrorist is gonna getchya!!
He's coming!
He's coming!
there's the terrorist... the president of the united states - Mr Barack "Osama" Hussain Obama!
So now that he's here we should do what any true freedom fries loving american should - kill him! behead him! shoot him! (maybe palin can put that target practice into some use?)
But it does make you think. will some loony from the deep south - wearin a white pointy hat who is so unhappy that a man of the african american descent is now their most powerful man.
Would one of them - from the KKK to the American Nazi Party to the National alliance - be actually crazy enough to take a pop shot at him? that surely has to be one of the biggest fears for Obama's security team. with even moderates within the republican party ranks pumping up the juice calling obama a terrorist surely these boys are gonna be pumping that juice times ten.
if a kid at school can feel hostile and depressed enough to go rampaging at a school, in the current financial climate some guy a few bricks short of a full wall wont take long to snap and carry something crazy out.
