no doubt its a very historic moment this and it does seem like a world away from the hose pipes and the baton charges. all within lifetimes of those people who experienced them. within a lifetime of someone who was around the slavery period.
maybe it is a new generation coming through. maybe it is new thinking.
maybe the reports that the KKK's membership is at an all time low are true.
but looking to the future mustnt make us forget what our past made us.
