Road safety or Entertainment?

That there is mr Jeremy Clarkson driving through a wall at 56 mph.

he emerged from the wreck apparently screaming in agony, with bruises to his leg, back and finger, but has since made a good recovery.

so why has he done it?

He said that he had decided before being allowed on the road, "everyone should be made to drive at high speed into a wall."

He added: "At the moment, teenagers see Bruce Willis driving his car into a helicopter and imagine that you can get out afterwards and still be well enough to punch a baddy in the face.

"This isn't accurate. I emerged from my high speed head-on impact in what can only be described as screaming agony. I couldn't walk. I couldn't talk. I couldn't think."

i mean come on - really?? i mean do we really drive through crashes, walls and helicopters cause we know that bruce willis can? rubbish!! we all know its a movie and the die hard films are meant to be OTT if we wanted to see real life crime we'd stick to watching the bravo channel and the constant repeats of police camera action

dont get me wrong - i LOVE top gear - i think its fantastic - its a motoring lads mag. its not about cars anymore its about what they can do to them. how they can speed them, race them across europe whilst having the time of their lives thanks to our license fee.

but its dumb of clarkson to start claimin he's doin this to show "accidents hurt" duhhhhh

thats what our 4 yr old cognotive brains told us when we fell down - accidents hurts - try not to fall down again.
